Disadvantage, disagreement, and disability: re-evaluating the continuity test

Abstract: The suggestion that individuals should be considered disadvantaged, and consequently entitled to compensation, only if they consider themselves disadvantaged (Dworkin's 'continuity test') is initially appealing.
