Abstract:This study aims to describe the form of directive speech acts (DSA) used in the film Merindu Cahaya De Amstel by Hadrang Daeng Ratu and its implementation in Indonesian language learning in junior high school (SMP). This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected using observation and note taking and analyzed using pragmatic equivalent method.
