“…(See details of the microfluidic approach in Scheme S1, Supporting information monodispersity [ 49 52 ].) As rapid mixing of solvent with anti-solvent (water) results in the instantaneous formation of nanodots due to the high level of supersaturation of the precursors [ 53 , 54 ], we performed the synthesis at a high flow rate of 16.5 mL min −1 for AIE-PS/polymer mixture solution with a mass ratio of 2 and Reynolds number of 350 (Fig. S1).…”

“…32 Only a handful of reports demonstrated AIE NPs preparation involving a microfluidics approach. 31,[99][100][101] Often, coaxial microfluidic devices fabricated with glass capillaries are used to make the AIE NPs. [99][100][101] However, rapid and uniform mixing between the solvent in the channel is required to achieve a high-level nanoparticle uniformity with a smaller diameter.…”

“…To address this issue, a microfluidic nanoprecipitation method was proposed for the mass production of AIE nanoparticles with excellent reproducibility and minimal batch‐to‐batch variation. [ 96,97 ] Liu and coworkers [ 96 ] reported an enhanced solvent displacement method to produce AIE nanoprobes with high monodispersity (PDI ≤ 0.1) and a tunable size (range between 25 and 200 nm) by modifying the miscibility between the solvent and antisolvent in the ouzo zone.…”
