Abstract:This paper introduces a direct torque control (DTC) method with space vector modulation (SVM) using interval type-2 fuzzy logic regulators for a dual-star induction machine fed by two three-level neutral point clamped inverters. The conventional DTC drive utilizes a pair of hysteresis comparators, which can lead to issues such as high torque ripple and variable switching frequency.
