Direct Observation of Ligand-Centered Redox in Cp*2Rh2(μ-C2S4)Clx (x = 2, 0)

Abstract: For the first time, the structural chemistry of a M2C2S4 core has been elucidated in two oxidation states:  two-electron reduction of Cp*2Rh2(μ-C2S4)Cl2 (r S 2 C - CS 2 = 1.45 Å) produces Cp*2Rh2(μ-C2S4) (r S 2 C - CS 2 = 1.34 Å).
