“…The peak at 406.8 eV is the N 1s satellite feature . Figure e exhibits the peaks at 284.2, 284.6, 285.47, and 288.4 eV which can be observed due to the carbon components of C—C, aromatic rings, C–N, and carboxylate/N—C═O groups, respectively . All of the aforementioned results support the successful electrochemical deposition of peptide/Ni(OH) 2 nanohybrids.…”

“…The fitted O 1s (Figure c) core level spectrum of BSeFF/Ni(OH) 2 exhibits three peaks at 530.6, 531.2, and 532.6 eV binding energies, which are assigned to oxygen–metal bond, hydroxyl groups (O—H), and carboxylate groups (O—C═O) . The carbon‐bound nitrogen components were confirmed by high‐resolution N 1s spectrum (Figure d).…”

“…4c), the fitting peaks at 873.8 and 856.3 eV with a spin-energy separation of 17.5 eV and satellite peaks at 880.1 and 861.5 eV correspond to the Ni 2p 1/2 and Ni 2p 3/2 spin-orbits, respectively, suggesting the Ni 2+ oxidation state in the NiCo-MOF. 57 The high-resolution C 1s spectrum (Fig. 4d) presented four peaks at 288.5, 287.9, 285.3 and 284.5 eV, which can be assigned to C=C, C-O, C=O, and O-C=O bonds, respectively.…”
