“…Direct fluorination of carbon monoxide was also carried out in microreactors by Venturini and co-workers. 132 Many previous studies have attempted to obtain a stream of pure COF 2 by direct fluorination of carbon monoxide with elemental fluorine or by electrochemical fluorination. However, these reactions are highly exothermic and therefore difficult to control, and so can easily lead to thermal runaway with poor selectivity.…”

“…Relevant studies have shown that COF 2 has strong biological toxicity and is highly corrosive. 25 Therefore, the production of this substance will cause damage to the health of operation and maintenance personnel and the safe operation of equipment. Under the simulation setting of this article (3.33% oxygen content), a few COF 2 molecules are generated at 800–2000 K. However, considering that the temperature of the fault discharge area in the gas-insulated equipment may be much higher than the temperature used in the simulation, it is necessary to carry out further experimental research on the content of harmful substances such as COF 2 in the HFO–N 2 –O 2 gas mixture discharge decomposition products.…”

“…With regard to theoretical knowledge of calculations, it has been described in detail in our previous work [30,31]. The Dmol3 package was used to process exchange-related interactions using a local density approximation (LDA-PWC) approach to optimize the structure of c-C 4 F 8 and O 2 [25]. To model the possible reaction path, the stable molecular configuration with the lowest energy is needed for selection.…”

“…The Corona discharge performance of c-C 4 F 8 /N 2 is better than the same mixing ratio SF 6 /N 2 . If the c-C 4 F 8 /N 2 gas mixture is not liquefied at −30 • C, the content of c-C 4 F 8 in the gas mixture is at most about 15% [25]. Therefore, the pure c-C 4 F 8 , 15% c-C 4 F 8 /N 2 and with 3% O 2 were selected as samples in this paper.…”
