Abstract

Diastereoselective syntheses O 0031Direct Asymmetric Aldol-Tishchenko Reaction of Aliphatic Ketones Catalyzed by syn-Aminoalcohol-Yb(III) Complexes. -Optimized reaction conditions allow formation of anti-1,3-diol monoesters (III)/(IV) with high diastereocontrol and good enantioselectivity.
