“…Fatty amides are widely used as/in surfactants, lubricants, cosmetics, shampoos, foam‐control agents, fungicides, corrosion inhibitors, water repellents, detergents, and anti‐blocking agents in the plastics‐processing industry . Industrially, fatty amides are currently produced by using a two‐step process (Scheme ): the conversion of triglycerides into fatty acid esters, followed by a high‐temperature aminolysis to produce fatty amides .
