Direct‐acting antiviral therapy for chronic hepatitis C among incarcerated people who inject drugs

Abstract: Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is an important public health problem, causing significant morbidity and mortality worldwide. The prevalence of HCV infections is especially high among people who inject drugs (PWID). The efficacy of direct‐acting antiviral (DAA) therapy was evaluated herein.
