Abstract: As campinas e campinaranas são ecossistemas amazônicos de grande importância, sobretudo, na Bacia do Rio Negro, As campinaranas são fitofisionomias florestais onde predominam plantas de metabolismo C3. Já as campinas são fitofisionomias abertas caracterizadas pela abundância de plantas C4.
