Dimers and Chains of Hydrogen Bonded [HS 2O7] -Anions in the Crystal Structures of M[HS 2O7] (M: K, [NH4], [NO], Rb, Cs). -The structures of the title compounds are determined by single crystal XRD. Compounds (II), (IVa), (VI), and (VIII) crystallize in the monoclinic space group P2 1/c with Z = 4 and (IVb) crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with Z = 2. In the crystal structures of the former compounds the HS 2 ions are linked into dimers by strong hydrogen bonds, whereas they are connected to infinite chains in the structure of (IVb). -(SCHINDLER, L.
