Abstract:Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) is one of the most serious complications of diabetes mellitus (DM) that is prone to occur in children with type 1 DM (T1DM). We report a 17-year-old overweight girl who was treated with multiple oral antihyperglycemic drugs under the initial impression of type 2 DM (T2DM).
