Dikationische E4‐Ketten (E=P, As, Sb, Bi) eingebettet in der Koordinationssphäre von Übergangsmetallen

Abstract: Es wird ein Vergleich der Oxidationschemie der Komplexe [{CpMo(CO)2}2(μ,η2:η2‐E2)] (E=P (A), As (B), Sb (C), Bi (D)) präsentiert. Show more

“…[15] In contrast to 5,t he cyclo-As 4 ligand in 6 is slightly folded (fold angle 38 8). TheAs À As bond lengths are between 2.4355(9) and 2.4759 (9) and lie in the range of single bonds,a sconfirmedb yW BIs between 0.80 and 0.93 (the DFT-optimized geometry reveals at rapezoidshaped As 4 ligand with af old angle of 6.48 8). [14] TheA s ÀAs distances are also longer than in complexes with a cyclo-As 4 ligand as an end-deck such as [Cp*Nb(CO) 2 (h 4 -As 4 )] (2.345-(4)-2.409(4) ).…”

“…According to the cyclic voltammograms, 1 shows only one reversible reduction while 2 reveals two of them. Based on this observation, we attempted to access the doubly reduced product of 1.Indeed, the reduction of 1 leads to the dianionic compound [K(18-c-6)(dme) 2 ][K(18-c-6)][(Cp'''Co) 2 (m,h 3 :h 3 -P 4 )] (9), which was obtained in crystalline yields of 75 % [Eq. (4)].Probably,during the reaction, first the monoanion 7 is formed followed by af urther reduction to the dianion 9.…”

“…Neutral non-complexed compounds containing chains of bismuth atoms were not located. There are structurally characterized examples of compounds containing both ring and branched [13] Bi 4 units, with the former group containing Bi 4 2À anions, [14] Bi 4 rings supported by either transition metals [15] or main group ligands [16] andc lusters containing hetero-atoms and isolated Bi 4 units; [17] ar epresentative example frome ach group is given in the references provided. It is possible that structuresc ontaining Bi 4 rings as solids may be more dynamic in solution and open to give Bi 4 chains.…”
