This study aims to determine the effectiveness of time management in bold learning at Daruz Zahra Islamic Boarding School. Students who live in Islamic boarding schools and participate in formal school activities are based on their knowledge of time. However, are students able to manage the time to study materials at Islamic boarding schools and general studies at school during the Covid-19 pandemic? Researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques and a semi-structured interview model in the form of a questionnaire distributed to 7 students. The data obtained was then processed by tabulating the answer data, description and analysis, data synthesis, and discussion. The results showed that: 1) continuous learning for Daruz Zahra Islamic Boarding School students was not very effective. This was caused by repeated boredom, so that it reached a saturation point. 2) Less than half of the material that students can absorb, coupled with the ability of teachers and students to use the internet, is still low, 3) Students tend to find it difficult to manage their time between formal learning and studying in Islamic boarding schools. Therefore, courageous learning should ideally be carried out in certain conditions and times that do not allow face-to-face meetings, such as natural disasters, and accompanied by increased professionalism of educators in using technology so that learning is not boring.

Factors Influencing Pre-service Teachers' Intention to Use Digital Learning Materials: A Study Conducted During the COVID-19 Pandemic in Germany

The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated an abrupt change in university teacher education, in that most face-to-face courses were replaced by online education, which had a profound impact on students. Pandemic distance learning required students to possess a high degree of self-regulation concerning their learning environment and to find new ways of communicating with their peers and instructors. At the same time, the novel situation offered opportunities to experience new educational applications. To learn more about the possible benefits of distance learning, this study examines how the first online semester during the pandemic contributed to pre-service teachers' intentions to use digital learning materials in the future. Pre-service teachers enrolled in a German university (n = 348) answered an online questionnaire at the end of the summer term of 2020. Findings from structural equation modeling showed that the perceived quality of teacher training during the online semester and self-reported improvements in digital skills predicted significantly students' intentions to use digital learning materials for future teaching. Moreover, results revealed that attentional regulation predicted perceived quality of teacher training and self-reported improvements in digital skills during distance learning. Thus, attentional regulation had a significant indirect effect on pre-service teachers' behavioral intentions. The indirect effects of other resource management strategies (effort and time management) and intrinsic motivation were not significant. Our results show that the quality of online instruction was an important factor in student teachers' learning processes during the pandemic. Based on our results, we discuss implications for the promotion of pre-service teachers' intentions to use digital learning materials for teaching in schools.

This study aims to determine the pedagogic concepts related to technology to implement the teacher education process in the PGRI (Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia) organization. Pedagogy in the global era requires a combination of technology for teaching and learning activities. The research method is qualitative through descriptive evaluative. Data collection techniques consist of interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include the reduction process data, data presentation, drawing conclusions and triangulation. The results showed that the PGRI organization had six programs to improve pedagogic competence, namely training, seminars, building partnerships, developing learning media, optimizing subject teacher group associations, and building social awareness. Various programs provide many activities related to pedagogy and technology.
