Over the past few decades, sophistication in intellectual property rights (IPR) violations has increasingly exceeded the limit. The offenders are trying to outsmart the development of a legitimate business model to facilitate online trade. The ease with which potential customers search for Commercial Sex Workers (CSW) using the MiChat application has been one of the misused social media, which violated the trust and safety feelings of online citizens. The authorities are eradicating the miChat Application as a means of online prostitution in Indonesia. This study deconstructs the law enforcement decision and looks at the committed violation from the IPR's perspective. This study portrays IPR violations that have been blatantly committed in Bogor City. Even this online prostitution business already has certain patterns and communication networks to facilitate CSW to get income. The circular pattern happens during negotiations before the meeting stage. The wheel pattern exists in the group of prostitutes who use help from pimps. The self-employed and the transvestite group use all channels in the communication network. This Application is designed to benefit from IPR violations because, from the management of MiChat, there is no effort to stop this online prostitution practice. IPR violation activities carried out by MiChat are within the control of its managers so that law enforcement can be applied through criminal complaints or other law enforcement mechanisms.

WhatsApp Business is an Android application that can be downloaded on Playstore to serve small business owners. This provides an opportunity for criminals to take advantage of the app’s features. These crimes can take the form of fraud, misdirection, and misuse of applications, so digital forensics is necessary because there has never been any research that has done this. This study aims to obtain digital evidence and is carried out on Android smartphones with the WhatsApp Business application installed with four scenarios tested. This study uses the NIST SP 800-101 Rev 1 guidelines with four stages: preservation, acquisition, inspection & analysis, and reporting. The forensic method used is static forensics using the MOBILedit forensic express forensic tools and SysTools SQLite Viewer. The results of this study in scenario 1, by not deleting, get a 100% percentage. Then, scenario 2, namely direct write-off, gets a percentage of 71%. Furthermore, scenario 3, namely uninstalling the application, does not get digital evidence, and scenario 4, namely deleting data through the application manager, also does not get any evidence. The contribution of this research is expected to be a reference in uncovering cases in the WhatsApp Business application with digital forensics.

Perbuatankriminalpada jaman sekarang semakin berkembang salah satunya adalah kriminal kejahatan dengan memanfaatkan sosial media. Pertumbuhan pengguna smartphone berbasis Android untuk mengakses media dalam berkomunikasimenggunakan media sosial Facebook Messenger sangat cepat. aktivitas kejahatan sebagaimana penyebaran konten pornografi yang belakangan ini banyak digunakan dengan aplikasi Facebook Messenger. Penelitian ni dilakukan untuk mendapatkan bukti forensik kegiatan kejahatan penyebarluasan pornografi pada aplikasi sosial media Facebook Messenger yang diakses melalui aplikasi smartphone. Penyelidikan dalam penelitian nimenggunakan metodeNational nstitute of Justice (NIJ) yang menyediakan beberapa tahapdentification, preservation, collection, examination, analysis, dan presentation. Pengangkatan bukti digital perilaku kriminal menggunakan software perangkat lunak Magnet Axiom dan Belkasoft Evidence Center. Bukti digital dicari terhadapperangkatpelaku kriminalpenyebarluasan pornografi yang disita dengan skenario kasus dengan 11 variabel sehingga didapatkan barang bukti berupa spesifikasi perangkat, akun Facebook Messenger, email, gambar, video dan audio. Hasil penelitian ni menunjukkan Magnet Axiom lebih baik dengan akurasi 90,91% dibandingkan Belkasoft Evidence Center 46,66%.
