Digital breast tomosynthesis: sensitivity for cancer in younger symptomatic women

Abstract: Objective: Full-field digital mammography (FFDM) has limited sensitivity for cancer in younger women with denser breasts. Digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) can reduce the risk of cancer being obscured by overlying tissue.
