Abstract:Composites are often used to obtain enhanced material properties, including improved mechanical performance, enhanced conductivity, increased transport and other properties. Recent advances in carbon nanotube (CNT) composite porous materials suggest that CNTs may offer a greater advantage than conventional fillers, not only due to their extraordinary mechanical and electronic properties but also due to their smooth potential surface that allows for relatively high flux through the tubes. Using lattice Monte Ca… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
