Diffraction separation and imaging using ensemble empirical mode decomposition and multichannel singular spectrum analysis

Abstract: Seismic diffracted wavefield has substantial potential for high-resolution subsurface imaging of discontinuous geological structures; however, they are often masked by higher amplitude reflection, thus requiring separation.
