Diffraction of plane waves from a strip grating on a ferrite substrate

Abstract: SUMMARYDiffraction of plane waves from a strip grating deposited on a magnetized ferrite substrate is studied analytically, with the incident electric field and biasing magnetic field assumed to be parallel to the edges of the strips, since the incident wave in these circumstances excites magnetostatic surface waves most strongly.
