“…Gastric duplication cysts are rare, and the one antenatally reported case was much larger and asymmetric. 3 Because the cyst was small, there was no mediastinal shift, no compression of the great vessels or pulmonary veins, normal cardiac function, normal amniotic fluid volume, and neither hydrops nor significant compression of the esophagus, heart structures, or airways, we speculated that the fetus would do well in the neonatal period. A fetal MRI was considered, but not performed as it was thought to have a low likelihood of resulting in a change in the management of the pregnancy.…”
