Differential sensitivity of the Brattleboro rat to glutamatergic and dopaminergic perturbation

Abstract: Background: The vasopressin deficient Brattleboro (BRAT) rats have behavioral impairments which mimic those seen in other schizophrenia models. However, the mechanism by which vasopressin produces these behavioral abnormalities is unclear.
