Differential Protective Activity of αA- and αB-crystallin in Lens Epithelial Cells

Abstract: ␣A-and ␣B-crystallins are molecular chaperones expressed at low levels in lens epithelial cells, and their expression increases dramatically during differentiation to lens fibers.
