“…Shin et al evaluated blood Tfh cells in Korean patients with psoriasis and reached the same conclusion, and they added this T cell subset was not correlated with PASI scores (Shin et al, 2016). In patients with PsA, the percentages of CD4 + PD-1 + and CD8 + PD-1 + T cells were also significantly lower than that in healthy controls (Bartosińska et al, 2017). The reduction in PD-1 expression on T cells seems to be reasonable, since without the negative regulatory role of PD-1, the sustained activation of T cells will lead to chronic cytokine production to promote the development of psoriasis.…”
