Differential diagnosis of vacuolar myopathies in the NGS era

Abstract: Altered autophagy accompanied by abnormal autophagic (rimmed) vacuoles detectable by light and electron microscopy is a common denominator of many familial and sporadic non-inflammatory muscle diseases.
