Abstract:This lecture discusses the issues of diagnosis and correction of pathological conditions accompanied by hyperandrogenism in women. The most common causes of a symptom complex caused by an increase in the level of androgens are polycystic ovarian syndrome, congenital dysfunction of the adrenal cortex, endogenous hypercortisolism, androgen-producing tumors. The data presented are based on clinical guidelines approved by the Russian Ministry of Health, consistent with the principles of evidence-based medicine.
