Different Techniques for Separation of Brackish Water

Abstract: Desalination is a convenient process to develope a fresh water supply in coastal areas. Reverse osmosis and conventional thermal distillation can be used for implementing the large-scale seawater desalination. Desalination is the process in which fresh water is formed from seawater or brackish water by removing dissolved salt, to make it suitable for human consumption. A high yield of disposable water is manufactured by the desalination process. Desalination permits a widening in the utilization of existing wa… Show more

“…[47,48] The HEO RE 2 Zr 2 O 7 presented here possess several elements with unpaired electrons which may result in magnetic ordering; several of the parent pyrochlore compounds have been demonstrated to support frustrated ordering. [49][50][51] Magnetic field response measurements and field cooling data was measured for HEREZ-Tb, shown in Figure 5, and was also measured for HEREZ-La, HEREZ-Sc, HEREZ-LaSc, which revealed similar behavior (Figures S14-S16, Supporting Information). The field cooling measurements in the inset of Figure 5a show a continuous increase in the magnetization with cooling, diverging at lower temperatures.…”

“…Solar desalination (SD) is a stand out among all other methods for purifying salty water. Solar still is broadly used as a part of the SD process, yet the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of a solar still is low when compared with other refining procedures [4,5]. Thus it is essential to upgrade the productivity of solar still through improving the conventional design parameters and operative methods [5].…”
