Abstract: The western flower thrips Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande) is an economically important invasive pest of crops in China. Previous work showed that the insecticide spirotetramat has lethal effects on Frankliniella occidentalis eggs, but that these effects decrease as the eggs age.
