Abstract:Activity patterns of intertidal gobiid fish, Chasmichthys gulosus, collected from different tidal localities, were recorded in a constant environment. Gobies collected from a rocky shore with a large tidal range and a regular tidal regime displayed a ca. 12 hour rhythm in their activity pattern.
