Difference of flux control between two‐dimensional orthogonal core and three‐dimensional orthogonal core

Abstract: This paper points out that when the primary and the secondary sides of the ferte orthogonal core, which is one of the three‐dimensional orthogonal cores, are modified, it can be regarded as a two‐dimensional orthogonal core. It is shown also that because of its shape, this type of core has the same flux control as the original ferrite orthogonal core.
