“…In this group, the highest LDT (>240 MW cm −2 ) is shown for orthorhombic LiGaS 2 (LGS). This crystal is widely used for high average power frequency down conversion from the 1 μm spectral range, 6 although its nonlinear susceptibility ( d 31 = 5.8 pm V −1 ) 5 is significantly inferior to the parameters AgGaS 2 , AgGaSe 2 and ZnGeP 2 ( d 36 = 18, 32.4 × 18 pm V −1 , respectively 7 ).…”
LiGaS2 crystals are grown, and the high thermal conductivity is established. Analysis of temperature dependences of various properties reveals side phases, and isotropic points in birefringence, photo-, thermo-, and pyroluminescence.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
