In Western countries, a recommended oil for a heart‐healthy diet must contain large amounts (>80%) of monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), and a low level (<20%) of saturated fatty acid (SAFs) (<20%) (Arnett et al, 2019; Bowen et al, 2018; Sikand, 2021; Sikand & Severson, 2020).
