Abstract:Hyperlipidemia is associated with elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels which is a risk factor for atherosclerosis. Spices being an integral part of culinary culture around the world are known to possess anti-cholesterol compounds and increase the high density lipoprotein cholesterol.
