Diet-Induced Hypercholesterolemia Leads to Cardiac Dysfunction and Alterations in the Myocardial Proteome

Abstract: Elevated blood cholesterol is a major risk factor for coronary heart disease. Moreover, direct effects on the myocardium also contribute to the adverse effects of hypercholesterolemia.
