Die Infrarot‐ und RAMAN‐Spektren der Alkalifluorosulfate

Abstract: Die Infrarotspektren der Alkalifluorosulfate MSO3F sowie die Raman‐Streuung für M = K, Rb und Cs wurden aufgenommen. Die Ergebnisse werden diskutiert und zu einigen Aussagen über die Gitterstrukturen benützt. Die dreizählige Achse des Anions bei den schwereren Salzen besitzt mehrere Orientierungsmöglichkeiten in der Einheitszelle.

“…The argument is based on frequency shifts, affecting all six fundamentals. In particular v, the S-F stretch is found -100 cm-I higher than commonly observed for ionic fluorosulfates (16)(17)(18). Pd(SO,F), also falls into this group.…”

“…The present calculations support the experimental assignments in refs. [21,29,30] The comparison with the gas-phase spectra of FClO 3 is also very satisfactory. The agreement with the experimental assignment of Kirillov et al [26] for monofluorophosphate is also acceptable, while that with Nelson and Williamson [28] is less clear.…”

“…It is generally accepted that fluorosulfuric acid undergoes an autoprotolysis during the formation of [SO 3 F] À anions and [H 2 SO 3 F] + cations with a concentration of 3.5 10 À4 mol L À1 of each ion. [11] The spectroscopic and structural properties of the pure acid and the [SO 3 F] À anion are well known, [13][14][15][16][17][18] but the existence of [H 2 SO 3 F] + is only assumed on the basis of cryoscopic and conductivity measurements. [11] 1 H and 19 F NMR spectroscopy experiments in superacidic solutions of the magic acid HSO 3 F/SbF 5 have been performed.…”
