Dichotomous cis-regulatory motifs mediate the maturation of the neuromuscular junction by retrograde BMP signaling

Abstract: Retrograde bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling at the Drosophila neuromuscular junction (NMJ) has served as a paradigm to study TGF-β-dependent synaptic function and maturation.
