Key indicators: single-crystal X-ray study; T = 295 K; mean (C-C) = 0.008 Å; disorder in main residue; R factor = 0.040; wR factor = 0.097; data-to-parameter ratio = 17.8.The Sn IV atom of the title compound, [Sn(C 4 H 9 ) 2 (C 13 H 14 Cl-NO 3 )], adopts a distorted SnNC 2 O 2 trigonal-bipyramidal geometry with a mean Sn-C distance of 2.105 Å and with Sn-O = 2.107 Å , and forms five-and six-membered chelate rings with the tridentate ligand.
