Abstract: The Island of Capri was transformed into a meeting point for centereuropean intellectuals which admired Capri's romantic scenaries and it's traditional architectural ruins, due to the influence in the formation of european intellectuals of the Grand Tour, École des Beaux-Arts and the Gran Premio di Roma.
