Diameter, Thickness and Discordance Degree of Solitary Pulmonary Cavitary Lesion to Differentiate Benign From Malignant Lesions, a Mutlislice Ct Study.
Abstract:Cavities are frequent image findings in a variety of pulmonary diseases including both lung cancer and pulmonary tuberculosis, Computed Tomography (CT) is accepted as the modality of choice for detection of possible cavitating pulmonary nodules. The aim of this study is to assess the role of diameter, thickness and discordance degree of solitary pulmonary cavitary lesion to differentiate benign from malignant lesions in multislice CT. This cross sectional study was done in the Computed Tomography
