Diamagnetic Levitation Thermometer

Abstract: This paper reports a diamagnetic levitation thermometer using a pyrolytic graphite (PG). The levitation height of diamagnetic materials depends on the temperature. The system is composed of a PG disc, permanent magnet for driving, non‐contact laser displacement meter, and spot heater.
