Abstract:The diagonals–parameter symmetry (DPS) model is a proposed method for analyzing square contingency tables with ordinal categories. Previously, it was stated that the generalized DPS (DPS[f]) model was equivalent to the DPS model for any function f, but the proof was not provided.
