Abstract:Aging is associated with a change in body composition, which is an increase in the proportion of fat mass, usually against with decrease in muscle mass. In addition, obesity is often associated with metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2), and cardiovascular diseases. Visceral obesity is more dangerous than excessive accumulation of subcutaneous fat.
