Abstract:Choline is an essential nutrient. Mitochondrial dysfunctions, oxidative stress and associated risks of developing non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, cardiovascular disease, muscular dystrophy, and fetal neural tube pathology are associated with insufficient choline intake.
