Abstract: Serum 1,3-␤-D-glucan (BG) assay may be helpful as a marker for the diagnosis of Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia (PJP) and invasive fungal infection (IFI).We conducted a systematic review to assess the diagnostic accuracy of this assay.
