“…Andreini et al assessed the diagnostic performance of multidetector computed tomography coronary angiography (MDCT-CA) for coronary artery evaluation in 325 patients, who also underwent invasive coronary angiography before TAVI. 47 MDCT-CA was performed using the same acquisition and dataset employed to standard MDCT aortic annulus evaluation. MDCT-CA showed high sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and accuracy for detecting ≥50% coronary artery stenosis.…”

“…87 Coronary MDCT in patients with HF has a high negative predictive value to confirm in a non-invasive way the absence of CAD, [88][89][90][91][92][93][94] especially in new-onset HF patients. Taking into account the significance of CAD in HF patients, MDCT may be one of the most important non-invasive tests to perform in these patients.…”

“…Non-invasive diagnostic methods, such as the angiotomography, have good accuracy in diagnosing coronary artery disease and could be safer for the population of Chagasic patients in this study [10][11][12][13] . However, access to this diagnostic method is still limited for most patients with Chagas' disease, as they must be treated by the public health system, which does not subsidize this examination.…”

“…In such cases, the use of angiotomography is an interesting method for the diagnosis of coronary artery disease in patients with HF, as it is a noninvasive test, in addition to having high negative predictive value [10][11][12][13] . However, its applicability is still limited by the low availability and high cost 13 .…”
