Abstract:The article by Leopold and Lagoe1 represents a departure from the high-quality scientific reports we usually see in the ARCHIVES. This departure is welcome and overdue. The authors are to be commended not only for their extensive analysis on diagnosis-related groups (DRGs), but also for having the courage to submit their article to a peer-reviewed journal.
