Abstract:A fluorescent derivative of cerebroside sulfate (1 2-( I-pyrene)dodecanoyl-sphingosylgalactosyl-O-3-sulfate (P12-sulfatide) has been synthesized as a potential substrate for the determination of cerebroside sulfatidase (or arylsulfatase A) activity.
