“…Indeed, nodular BCCs are considered difficult to treat with topical treatments such as imiquimod and 5‐FU and even pigmented BCCs do not show great improvements with topical therapies (imiquimod). Therefore, an adequate evaluation of BCC subtypes is mandatory to decide the best treatment option (Tanese, ). Regarding our experience, we detected the presence of multiple pigmented sBCC in our patients, in accordance with dermoscopic criteria established by Pan and Lallas.…”
