Diaelastic pressure-induced effects on spectral holes in crystals

Abstract: Phase behaviour of a symmetric binary mixture of hard rodsA statistical theory is developed in order to describe the pressure-induced shift and broadening of spectral holes in pressure-tuning experiments in crystals.
