Abstract:Introduction: Striatopathy or non-ketonic hyperglycemia is a rare etiology, but well reported in the literature, of involuntary movements in patients with diabetes mellitus, being characterized by affecting, in general, elderly patients with hemicorrea-hemiballismus.
